Frameless Shower Systems (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a family-owned company that designs, fabricates and installs custom frameless shower doors, glass railings and mirrors for homes in Washington, DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia.   • Estimate and contact forms: your name, phone number, email address, city or neighborhood, the service you’re interested in, a description of your project, and any photos, layouts or PDFs you choose to upload.
  • Calls, texts and emails: the details you share when you call us at (240) 301-1773, text us at (202) 236-1482, or email contact@framelessshowersystems.com.
  • Your project: if you book an estimate or hire us, we collect your service address, measurements and photos of the space, your design choices, and the records of your quote, order, invoices, payments and warranty.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the website or ad that brought you here, and the date and time of your visit. This is collected using cookies and similar technologies, described below.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • respond to your estimate request and answer your questions;
  • schedule visits, take measurements, and fabricate and install your project;
  • provide warranty service and keep records of the work we did;
  • send you messages about your estimate, order or installation;
  • understand which of our ads and web pages lead to inquiries, so we can improve our advertising;
  • protect our website and our advertising budget from fraud and abuse; and
  • meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Advertising, cookies and tracking

We advertise on Google and use the following tools on our website:

  • Google Tag Manager and Google Ads: these tools measure when a visitor who clicked one of our ads submits a form or calls us, and may be used to show our ads to people who have previously visited our site (remarketing). Google sets cookies to do this.
  • Google Ads call tracking: if you arrive from one of our ads, the phone number shown on our site may be replaced with a Google forwarding number. Calls to that number are connected to us, and Google gives us basic call details, such as the call’s date, time, duration and area code, so we can tell which ads produce calls.
  • Enhanced conversions: when you submit a form, your email address and phone number may be shared with Google in a hashed (scrambled) form. This helps us measure the results of our ads more accurately. Google doesn’t use this to identify you to us.
  • ClickCease: this service checks visits that come from our ads, using information such as your IP address and device details, to detect and block fraudulent or automated clicks.

You can manage ad personalization through Google’s My Ad Center (myadcenter.google.com), and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies will not prevent you from contacting us or requesting an estimate. Our website does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.

How we share your information

We share personal information only as needed to run our business:

  • Service providers who help us operate, including our website host, email delivery service, Google (advertising, tag management and call tracking) and ClickCease (click-fraud protection). They may use your information only to provide services to us.
  • Legal reasons, when required by law, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
  • Business transfers, if our business is sold or reorganized, in which case your information would remain subject to this policy.

Text messages

When you text us, we use your number to reply to you and to coordinate your estimate and installation. We will not send you marketing text messages without your consent. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply.

Google reviews

Our website displays reviews that customers have posted publicly on our Google Business Profile, including the reviewer’s name and profile picture as shown on Google.

How long we keep information

We keep inquiry information for as long as we need it to respond to you and follow up on your request. If you become a customer, we keep project and job records for at least the length of your warranty, and longer where needed for tax, accounting or legal reasons. Photos and files you upload are kept with your project records.

How we protect your information

Our website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we limit access to customer information to the people who need it to do their jobs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we have about you;
  • correct information that’s inaccurate; or
  • delete your information, unless we need to keep it for warranty, legal or accounting reasons.

To make a request, contact us using the details below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy laws, and we will respond to requests as those laws require.

Children’s privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the effective date at the top of this page.
